1. Bad breath:- In case of liver dysfunction, the smell of the mouth changes. People with liver problems often have bad breath. In case of liver damage it mostly smells like bad onion or fishy smell. It is caused by excess ammonia being produced in the body which is otherwise fixed by enzymes produced by the liver.
2. Severe digestive problems :- This is due to the accumulation of fat on the liver when there is any damage due to which you are not able to digest water properly. Digestive problems can vary from person to person and should be ignored. It is a serious symptom that can become worst if not treated on time.
3. Dark circles and tired eyes:- Have you ever noticed that doctors usually check your eyes for most of the problems? Dehydration due to liver problems is because liver function is affected if you regularly have dark urine and dark colored stools, then check yourself for liver disease.
6. Having yellow colored eyes:- Yellow colored eyes are usually a symptom of jaundice which is a liver disease. If you notice that your yellow eyes and nails are signs of liver infection and need immediate treatment. Sometimes, jaundice can even lead the person to serious health complications and may result in adverse health outcomes.
7. Stomach Bloating:- Liver problems can cause your stomach to swell due to infection and damage. Abdominal bloating means that the liver is enlarged due to an infection of some kind of liver dysfunction. As a result, your stomach may start to protrude and you may experience unusual burning sensation in your abdominal area.
8. Bitter taste in mouth:- You must be guessing it is related to bad breath. Well, no, these are different symptoms that are related to liver problems. A bitter metallic taste in your mouth is related to problems with the secretion of enzymes by the liver. If you get this metallic and bitter taste most of the time, it may be due to bile juices in your mouth instead of mixing with food to aid digestion.
