What is the silent killer of female body ? What is PCOS ? How to fix it ? | Women's Health Tips

PCOS (polycystic ovary syndrome): the silent killer of the female body!

A woman who is equally efficient in every aspect of life, when she suffers from an imbalance in the internal workings of her body, becomes involved in a complex disease called polycystic ovary. In reality it is not a single disease, but a combination of many diseases and their symptoms, which directly affect a woman's very important organs, ovaries, uterus, etc. And when these symptoms appear together, in medical terms they are referred to as polycystic ovary syndrome or polycystic ovary syndrome or PCOS for short.

About 6-10% of fertile women are affected by PCOS, so the problem is no longer neglected.

How to know if you are infected:

  • Some very common external signs like
  • Thick hair on different parts of the body including the face,
  • Acne,
  • Irregular periods,
  • Abnormal hair thinning on the scalp,
  • Sudden weight gain etc.

Initially it is assumed that you may have polycystic ovary disease.

But it is possible to be sure that you really suffer from this disease just by looking at three characteristics.

  • Problems with irregular periods,
  • An increase in the male hormone androgen in the blood  and
  • abnormally enlarged uterus (due to ovarian cysts) -

If you have two of these three symptoms in you, it is absolutely certain that you are actually suffering from polycystic ovary syndrome. Therefore, if you have doubts in the initial phase and you suffer from the problem of irregular menstruation, you can consult a doctor to see if there is an excess of androgen hormones in the blood or you can find out if there is any cyst in the ovary through ultrasound. .

Other physical complications you may face as a result of PCOS include:

Women suffer from various complications due to this disease. Currently, this disease is one of the reasons why women's infertility is increasing at a high rate. Furthermore, women are more prone to more serious diseases and complications such as:

  • Diabetes,
  • High blood pressure,
  • Uterine cancer,
  • Increase in bad cholesterol in the blood
  • Sleep apnea (breathing problems during sleep),
  • Fatigue and
  • Increased depression .

So the moment to be aware is now.

What are the reasons:

Although the specific cause of this disease is still unknown, according to the researchers, the disease could be due to a genetic or genetic imbalance of certain hormones (such as: androgens, progesterone, insulin) in the female body. Hormonal imbalance is usually attributed to an uncontrolled lifestyle, poor nutrition, excess weight and lack of work.

How to fix it:

If you still don't have PCOS symptoms, thank God in your heart. And if you get infected, there is nothing to worry about. Because anxiety can increase the release of some more harmful hormones. Since you are not suffering from this disease for any specific reason, you will again be making a serious mistake if you think you will be completely cured just by taking the medicine. Your doctor may prescribe certain medications to balance hormones and temporarily relieve symptoms. Indeed, it is not possible to completely cure this disease. However, due to the side effects of these medicines, long-term effects on your body may appear.

So change some habits in your life from this moment to the present.

  • Establish a fresh food eating routine.
  • Eliminate all processed foods that are usually packaged or frozen from the market.
  • Eat enough fruit and veggies each day.
  • Give up your fast food addiction.
  • Get enough sleep every day and certainly at night.
  • And exercise at least fifteen minutes every day.

Women usually get scared when they hear about exercise. For those who think they have to do heavy work or need a lot of equipment, I just say walking. Walking regularly will help you keep your body weight in check. Do enough work. At least you can do the little homework on your own.

Note :

So your little awareness, caution and systematic living can keep you away from this deadly disease. Learn how to live a healthy life, be aware of yourself and make everyone around you aware. Enjoy every moment of this little life because a healthy body is the source of a happy mind.
