Eating food like onions, garlic and spices causes bad breath. Smoking is a cause of bad breath. Moreover, consumption of tobacco products has the possibility of gum disease.

Bad breath results from improper dental care. At least twice daily, you should brush your teeth. This means that you should brush your teeth right away after waking up in the morning and right before going to bed at night.

The problem is that the toothpaste does not reach the space between our two teeth. So even if you brush twice a day, food particles and bacteria get stuck in the space between the two teeth. This results in bad breath. Flossing should be done regularly to eliminate this problem. Flossing removes food particles from the space between the two teeth, preventing plaque build-up and bad breath.

Along with the teeth and gums, the tongue should be kept clean. If the tongue is not cleaned, the odor-causing bacteria on it will cause bad breath. A tongue scraper or tongue cleaner is very easy to clean the tongue.

Saliva helps keep the mouth clean. There is less saliva in the mouth while sleeping. This is why bad breath is found after waking up. And if you have the habit of sleeping with your mouth open, the stench is more. If the mouth is dry for a long time due to problems in the salivary glands and any disease, bad breath occurs.

Yogurt: 

Yogurt is a probiotic food. Yogurt contains health beneficial bacteria called Lactobacillus. This bacteria works against various diseases of the stomach. If you have bad breath due to stomach diseases such as indigestion, gastroesophageal reflux disease, taking curd will remove the bad breath.

Milk:

Fennel seeds: 

Fennel seeds look a lot like cumin seeds. This delicious spice helps in eliminating bad breath. Fennel seeds contain antibacterial properties that kill odor-causing bacteria, thereby eliminating bad breath. Chewing fennel seeds increases the secretion of saliva. Green Tea: 

Green tea has many benefits. One good feature of green tea is that it is antiseptic. Green tea can kill bad breath bacteria. Drinking two cups of green tea before going to bed at night will eliminate bad breath.

Homemade mouthwash

You can make mouth wash at home to remove strong bad breath. Sodium Bicarbonate which is known to many of us as baking soda. Baking soda has antiseptic properties. If you make a mouthwash with baking soda and clean the teeth, gums and the inside of the mouth for more than 30 seconds, bad breath will be removed.

Mix half a teaspoon of baking soda in half a glass of warm water. Baking soda mouthwash is ready. You can use this baking soda mouthwash after brushing your teeth or anytime.
